Heavy Rain Since Afternoon, Dozens Of Houses In Bencongan Indah Village, Tangerang Regency, Are Flooded

TANGERANG REGENCY – Due to heavy rains since the afternoon, dozens of houses in Bencongan Indah Village, Kelapa Dua, Tangerang Regency have been flooded.

Head of the Emergency and Logistics Division at BPBD Tangerang Regency, Abdul Munir, said the water level had reached 50-80 centimeters.

"It rained quite heavily and for a long time, the graves soaked the houses of residents," said Abdul, Tuesday, April 5.

For the flood points, there are 4 RWs, namely, RW 18, 20, 25 and 31. Now his party is trying to deploy community evacuation tools in the form of rubber boats.

"We fielded a rubber boat to evacuate the victims who were trapped in the flood," he said.

Adi, Bencongan Village Head, said that residents who were caught in the flood would be evacuated to the nearest prayer room.

"We are in the process of going to the nearest prayer room," he said.
