A Lecturer In Bandung Involved In A Case Of Alleged Corruption Of Scout Grant Funds, What Is The Campus?
JAKARTA - The West Java High Prosecutor's Office (Kejati) questioned one of the heads of the Bandung City Government (Pemkot) regarding the investigation into a case of alleged corruption in grant funds for scouting activities. Even a lecturer was also examined.
Head of the Legal Information Section of the West Java Prosecutor's Office, Dodi Gazali Emil, said the head of the service had the initials HG. Besides HG, there was another person being examined, the initials M.
"HG is a Head of Service at the Bandung City Government, while M is a lecturer," said Dodi in Bandung, West Java, Tuesday, April 5, quoted from Antara.
However, in his statement, Dodi did not mention in detail the services held by HG. He also has not explained the relationship between HG and M in the alleged corruption case.
Meanwhile, Dodi said that both of them are known to be administrators of the Bandung City Scout Movement branch. Dodi said that both of them are still witnesses.
"The investigation started at 10.00 WIB at the Special Crime Division Building of the West Java High Prosecutor's Office," said Dodi.
The West Java Prosecutor's Office is investigating a case of alleged corruption originating from the flow of Bandung City Government (Pemkot) grant funds for the activities of the Bandung City Scout Movement Kwartir Branch.
The case has now been raised to the level of investigation after investigators examined 19 witnesses consisting of scout officials and a number of Bandung City Government officials.
The Bandung City Government grant to the Kwartir Branch of the Bandung City Scout Movement suspected of being related to corruption amounted to Rp. 2.5 billion in 2017, Rp. 2.5 billion in 2018, and Rp. 1.5 billion in 2020.
