SIG AGMS Approves Dividend Distribution Of IDR 1.02 Trillion, 50.66 Percent Of 2021 Profit
JAKARTA - PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (SIG) (the Company) today, Thursday 31 March, held the 2022 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGM) (Meeting) in Jakarta. The meeting approved the determination of profit for the year attributable to owners of the parent entity in 2021 amounting to Rp2.02 trillion.
"50.66 percent or Rp1.02 trillion is designated as cash dividends. 49.34 percent or Rp997.19 billion is designated as other reserves," explained SIG management.
The meeting respectfully dismissed Mrs. Hendrika Nora Osloi Sinaga as Commissioner; and Mr. Doddy Sulasmono Diniawan as Director of Finance and Risk Management. The meeting also changed the nomenclature of the Company's Board of Directors, which was originally Director of Marketing and Supply Chain to Director of Supply Chain, Director of Business Development and Business Strategy to Director of Business and Marketing.
Subsequently, the Meeting appointed the Company's Board of Commissioners and Directors, namely Mr. Arief Prasetyo Adi as Commissioner; and Mr. Andriano Hosny Panangian as Director of Finance and Risk Management.

For information, through the strategic initiatives carried out, in 2021 SIG recorded good sales performance achievements. Total sales volume in the domestic and export markets in 2021 increased by 1.6 percent to 40.47 million tons from 39.85 million tons in 2020.
With the support of production and distribution facilities that are wide and spread out, it allows SIG to reach the cement market widely and maintain its position as a leader in the Indonesian cement market through five leading cement brands circulating throughout Indonesia, namely Semen Gresik, Semen Padang, Semen Tonasa, Dynamix and Andalas cement and one brand in Vietnam, Thang Long Cement.
As a building material solution provider company, GIS has developed various products, services, and sustainable solutions for the community. GIS supports the acceleration of infrastructure development and the implementation of sustainable construction as stated in the Instruction of the Minister of PUPR by providing a variety of Non OPC Cement products that are not only environmentally friendly, but also provide various technical performance advantages according to the needs of construction applications.
In 2021, SIG officially started marketing Mortar Indonesia products, namely instant cement in various types that can provide convenience for customers in construction work.
GIS is also developing solutions to support mass housing development programs in a short time and cost efficient without compromising the quality of buildings through DynaHome construction technology. DynaHome products are expected to help accelerate the fulfillment of affordable housing needs for the community.
In addition to cement products, SIG also provides various concrete solutions that have been developed, such as Minimix which allows small scale projects using readymix (finished concrete) products, SpeedCrete for very high strength concrete solutions, concrete pavement only takes 8 hours, which allows completion of work faster and jam-free road construction. And ThruCrete which can provide water catchment areas and reduce the risk of flooding.
In an effort to support a circular economy, through a waste treatment unit called Nathabumi, GIS utilizes industrial and urban waste as raw materials and alternative fuels through co-processing methods. Several types of industrial waste such as fly ash, bottom ash, and copper slag can also be used as an alternative raw material for cement and its derivative products.
The application of green industry standards in the GIS operational pattern has been verified through Green Label certification with a Gold rating from the Green Product Council Indonesia (GPCI), green concrete label from the Ministry of Environment and Forestry (KLHK) through a Self-Declaration Ecolabel certificate, and Green Industry Certification (SIH) from Ministry of Industry.
The development of these innovative products is intended to strengthen GIS' positioning as a building material solution provider company that provides a complete product portfolio for various applications, so that consumers can find products that are more accurate and in accordance with their needs, as well as a form of GIS commitment in creating sustainable living, that are socially and environmentally responsible to improve the quality of life in the future.
