Tangerang City Government Threatens Sanctions Business Actors Refuse To Implement Restaurant Hours During Ramadan

BANTEN - The Culture and Tourism Office of the Tangerang City Government, Banten, has issued a rule for business actors who during Ramadan 2022. In this regulation, there are strict sanctions for those who violate it.

"We have conveyed the rules regarding restaurant hours and the temporary suspension of public entertainment during the month of Ramadan. If you violate it, you will be subject to sanctions," said Tangerang Mayor Arief R Wismansyah in Tangerang on Sunday, April 3, quoted from Antara.

He said restaurants, cafes and restaurants were allowed to open their businesses by opening the curtains until 17.00 WIB and operating hours until 21.00 WIB.

"We remind you that the application of health protocols such as the use of care and protection applications is still applied. This is an effort to prevent the spread of COVID-19," he said.

Then for restaurants, cafes and restaurants, you can open a business to eat sahur starting at 02.00 WIB. Entertainment services such as karaoke, sauna, spa, massage and billiards are closed during the month of Ramadan. "We urge you to follow the existing rules," he said.

The rules for operating hours for restaurant businesses are contained in circular letter No. 451/2525-Disbudpar Tangerang City and has been socialized to all regions.

Subdistrict Head Benda Achmad Suhaely added that field supervision would be carried out by the Satpol PP together with the Police and the TNI to ensure that no business actor violated the rules.

This is done to ensure that the implementation of the fasting month of Ramadan runs smoothly and the economy continues to operate in accordance with applicable regulations.
