BMKG Predicts That South And East Jakarta Will Experience Rain During The Ngabuburit Hours On The First Day Of Fasting
JAKARTA - The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) asked residents to be aware of rain accompanied by lightning and strong winds in South Jakarta and East Jakarta on the first day of Ramadan 1443 Hijri or 2022.
BMKG through its official website in Jakarta, Sunday, April 3, reported that the potential for thunderstorms would occur in a short duration from midday to late afternoon. The moment when people spend time on ngabuburit or buying takjil as a meal to break their fast.
According to BMKG, in the morning the weather in DKI Jakarta is expected to be cloudy. Then entering the afternoon, changes began to occur, namely West Jakarta and East Jakarta it is estimated that rain with moderate intensity will occur.
Central Jakarta and North Jakarta are predicted to have light rain and South Jakarta is expected to rain with lightning. Only the Thousand Islands are expected to be cloudy during the day.
Entering the evening, the entire DKI Jakarta area is expected to be cloudy until the early hours of the morning. Only the Thousand Islands are forecast for light rain in the early hours of the morning.
The air temperature in DKI Jakarta is estimated to be in the range of 23 to 24 degrees Celsius to a maximum of 30-32 degrees Celsius.
Meanwhile, the humidity level is estimated to be in the range of a minimum of 80 to a maximum of 95 percent.
