IOS Users Can Now Tweet Via Voice
JAKARTA - Twitter has just launched a voice tweet feature for iOS users. This feature was introduced last June, which allows users to send tweets by voice. Similar to WhatsApp's Voice Note feature.
"We're rolling out voice Tweets to you more on iOS so we can continue to learn about how people use audio. Since introducing this feature in June, we've taken your feedback seriously and are working to make transcriptions available in voice Tweets," he said. Twitter uploaded on its blog, Wednesday, September 30.
When posted, these voice tweets also appear with text and can be played back like video content. However, when users tried the feature, not a few of them found failure because the transcript did not appear in the sound clip.

According to The Verge's report, it was revealed that there is no dedicated team on Twitter for this accessibility. Even so, the company has asked employees to volunteer their time to focus on accessibility.
A total of two teams have been deployed to promote accessibility. The Accessibility Center of Excellence team will work to continue accessibility within Twitter, while the Experience Accessibility Team will focus on product development.
In addition, Twitter also said that it plans to add automatic captions to audio and video on the platform as early as 2021. However, it is not yet clear when the transcription will be available in voice tweet. Unfortunately, Twitter was reluctant to respond.
Not only launched on iOS, later Twitter will also bring the voice tweet feature to Android and the web around 2021. And soon start testing voice DM which will be first introduced in Brazil.
