Manchester United Vs Leicester City, Ralf Rangnick: They Are In A Good Trend
JAKARTA - Manchester United will face Leicester City in the continuation of the English Premier League, Saturday 2 April 2022. The match will be held at Old Trafford Stadium, Manchester.
Manchester United manager, Ralf Rangnick said this match will not be easy. Brendan Rodgers' side are on a positive trend, winning three of their last four matches.
"Our focus is on the next game, where it will be Leicester. It's not an easy game, they have had a good trend recently with three wins from four games," explained Rangnick, as quoted by Antara from the club's official website.
"There are some of their players who have come back from injury so we have to be really alert. It's a good opponent but we also know that if we play well we can beat them, like at West Ham or Tottenham," he continued.
In this match, Edinson Cavani again missed playing. The player who was brought in from Paris Saint-Germain is again struggling with injury.
Rangnick explained Cavani suffered a calf injury while defending the Uruguay national team in the 2022 World Cup qualifiers, a few days ago.
"The only injured player, unfortunately again, is Edinson Cavani. In his second game, he had to be substituted after 25 minutes because of some calf problems," Rangnick said.
The German manager continued, doctors predict the 34-year-old will be out for the next four to five weeks and they must continue to monitor his progress.
"So this is of course bad news because we have to lose one striker. Other than that, everyone looks fit," explained Rangnick.
Meanwhile, Rangnick revealed two Brazilian players Alex Telles and Fred are ready to be fielded despite having just had a long journey to defend the Samba team.
