Polda Cleans 18 Mosques In North Maluku Ahead Of The Beginning Of Fasting
JAKARTA - The North Maluku Regional Police sent personnel to a number of places of worship to clean up in order to welcome the Holy Month of Ramadan 1443 Hijri in Ternate City.
"We are deploying all personnel to carry out social service activities in the form of cleaning movements in 18 mosques around the city of Ternate," said Head of Public Relations of the Malut Polda Kombes Pol Michael Irwan Thamsil in Ternate, Saturday, April 2, quoted from Antara.
Kombes Michael Irwan explained that the cleaning activity involved all North Maluku Police personnel with the cleaning equipment that had been prepared.
This activity is a series of personnel activities to welcome Ramadan 1443 Hijriah in the local area.
He expects the enthusiasm and sincerity of the personnel's dedication to realize a Precise Police, as a form of police responsibility that is felt by the wider community.
He also appealed to all North Maluku people to always comply with health protocols because the current situation is still a COVID-19 pandemic.
"In carrying out activities, whether you are out of the house for certain purposes or wherever you are, always wear a mask and always obey the government's advice in handling COVID-19," he said.
One of the administrators of the Imam Bonjol Mosque in Ternate appreciated this local police social service.
"This concern of the North Maluku Police has made the Imam Bonjol Mosque environment clean ahead of the Holy Month of Ramadan," he said.
He hopes that the cleanliness of the mosque is always maintained so that worshipers are more comfortable in worship.
"In addition to carrying out pre-tarawih preparation activities, we will also provide security during the Tarawih prayers throughout the month of Ramadan," he said.
