JAKARTA - Ahead of the first free practice (FP1) of the Argentine MotoGP on Saturday, April 2, as many as 17 teams of riders still lost some of their cargo.

In total there are eight MotoGP teams that are still missing cargo ahead of MotoGP Argentina 2022, namely Ducati, Mooney VR46, Gresini, RNF Yamaha, Monster Yamaha, Tech3, KTM, and Suzuki.

In addition, Speedweek quoted that there are also teams from Moto2 and Moto3 that are still missing cargo ahead of the MotoGP Argentina 2022, including KTM Ajo and VR46 in Moto2.

The cargo losses experienced by Argentine MotoGP teams are varied. Ducati even admitted that their side lost 10 cargo boxes, while the VR46 team actually lost all cargo boxes.

"We lost 10 boxes," said Ducati sporting director Paolo Ciabatti.

According to Ciabatti, currently his party is still waiting for the equipment belonging to the two drivers, Jack Miller and Francesco Bagnaia.

"But we have received all the bikes and engines. We lost spare parts, part of the paddock decorations and the complete toolbox," said Ciabatti, who hopes all the equipment will arrive this Saturday.

The Boeing 747-222B cargo plane leased by Dorna Sports to carry cargo and motorcyclists was actually scheduled to arrive in Tucuman, Argentina, on Friday night at 21:07 local time.

Prior to this, there was a delay in the delivery, causing Dorna to decide to cancel all free practice activities on the first day at the Termas de Rio Hondo Circuit, Friday, April 1 yesterday.

Instead, Dorna compensated the audience for a pitlane walk. This was done by Dorna so that the MotoGP Argentina 2022 audience could see the motorbikes on display and meet the racers in person to reduce disappointment due to the postponement of the schedule.
