Bogor City Government Provides Rental Houses For 15 Families Of Victims Of The Cincau Village Fire

BOGOR - The City Government of Bogor, West Java has provided temporary housing for three months for the victims of the fire in Kampung Cincau that occurred on Tuesday, March 29. It is suspected that the cause of the fire was an electrical short circuit.

Deputy Mayor of Bogor Dedie A. Rachim said that to ensure the condition of the residents' buildings which were badly damaged, his party had visited the location of the fire in RW09 Kampung Cincau, Gudang Village, Central Bogor District, Bogor City, Thursday, March 31.

"We are trying to find a solution to the problem in terms of land rights. If we take advantage of the government's budget, the land rights are the main thing," said Dedie in Bogor City, Antara, Friday, April 1.

Dedie said there were a total of 11 houses with 15 heads of families (KK) who were victims of the fire. The condition of the house is quite severe and must be completely renovated.

According to Dedie, his arrival not only conveyed a message for the victims' residences, the Bogor City Government also conveyed various aids for the victims.

Assistance in the form of cooking utensils, basic necessities, mattresses, and several other necessities needed by residents.

"We offer temporarily to residents, the victims of the fire in Kampung Cincau occupy a flat in Cibuluh or later through Kalak BPBD in temporary housing for three months. With minimum funds, what we have prepared is limited. Residents understand whatever the government decrees," he said.

As a result of the dialogue with the residents, Dedie believes that the residents will accept a solution to occupy a temporary rental house for the next few months. The rental house that was prepared was not far from the domicile of the victims.

He said the Bogor City Government was also coordinating across agencies, such as with the Unity Foundation and Basolia. Coordination with some of these parties to seek other possible material assistance.

"Such as sand, mild steel, or spandex. This is a step we take for emergencies. The Social Service will also involve Tagana to help clean the houses of the victims," he said.
