SAR Team Search For Youth Who Drowned In Lake Cileunca Bandung While Playing Boat

BANDUNG - The Bandung Search and Rescue (SAR) team conducted a search for a young man named Heru Ardiansyah (15) who was reported to have drowned in Lake Situ Cileunca, Bandung Regency, West Java.

Head of the Bandung SAR Office Deden Ridwansyah said the young man had reportedly drowned since Thursday (31/4) at 15.30 WIB while playing in the lake with two of his colleagues.

"The victim and two of his friends were playing on the boat, but all three fell, two people survived and one person is still being searched," said Deden in Bandung, West Java, quoted by Antara, Friday, April 1.

After that, the SAR team left for the location at 17.00 WIB to search for victims who were residents of Pulo Village, Pulosari Village, Pangalengan District, Bandung Regency.

According to him, the search was carried out by deploying four divers, but as of Friday at 11.30 WIB there had been no sign of the victim's whereabouts.

He said the joint SAR team was still conducting searches within a 10 kilometer radius of the incident site using boats.
