Central Java Police Chief Ensures The Area Is Safe During Fasting Month And Eid Al-Fitr 2022, Homecoming Is Welcome But There Are Conditions
SEMARANG - Central Java Police Chief Inspector General Pol Ahmad Luthfi ensured that the Kamtibmas situation ahead of Ramadan 2022 in the Central Java region was very conducive. Ahmad Luthfi also stated that the government had made efforts to make public worship, especially the Muslims, run smoothly and solemnly.
"In general, security and social order is conducive and sufficient food supplies are available in the market. Currently, the government has provided leeway for the community to carry out activities," explained Regional Police Chief Ahmad Luthfi in a written statement, Friday, April 1.
Ahmad Luthfi personally also invited the community, especially Muslims, to worship solemnly and maintain togetherness and tolerance among fellow citizens during Ramadan.
"For Muslims, please do fasting during Ramadan during the day, then continue the tarawih prayer. In time, please also carry out homecoming for residents who want to stay in touch with family in their hometown. said the Chief of Police.
The regulation in question, continued Ahmad Luthfi, is that people are asked to obey the health procedures when carrying out congregational tarawih in mosques.
"Congregations of tarawih in mosques and prayer rooms are welcome, but still wear masks and obey health procedures. The reason is, the COVID pandemic has not ended. So we need to be vigilant. We hope that the takmir of mosques and prayer rooms remind their congregations to obey the health procedures," he explained.
Ahmad Luthfi also invited Muslims to take advantage of the momentum of Ramadan to worship fervently and to understand the nature and purpose of fasting.
"Take advantage of Ramadan to hone social awareness, maintain morality and tolerance. One thing that is very important, don't forget to pray so that Central Java will be more peaceful, safe and prosperous. We hope that COVID-19 will end soon. Community activities will run normally and the economy will continue to improve, " he hoped.
Regarding going home, Ahmad Luthfi explained that the Central Java region is the center of the largest homecoming concentration in Indonesia. It has prepared anticipatory steps so that the homecoming flow runs smoothly.
"Later there will be Candi Candle Operations, which is a centralized police operation. But before that, the police had carried out preliminary operations so that the Kamtibmas situation would remain sloping and there would be no turmoil," explained Ahmad Luthfi.
These operations, he continued, were not only carried out by traffic functions, but also all functions of the police.
"This includes intensive coordination with relevant agencies, such as the food and COVID response task force, as well as a number of resolutions to communal conflicts in Central Java," he stressed.
Ahmad Luthfi ensured that his party was ready to go all out to deploy personnel in securing Kamtibmas during the month of Ramadan and Eid including the homecoming period.
"People are welcome to go home but still obey existing procedures and rules. Keep harmony and prioritize road safety," he concluded.
