Had Denies, Now Gerindra Admits That Taufik Was Removed From The Position Of Deputy Chairperson Of The DKI DPRD
JAKARTA - Chairman of the DKI Jakarta Gerindra Party DPD Ahmad Riza Patria now admits that his party has removed Mohamad Taufik from the position of Deputy Chair of the DKI Jakarta DPRD from the Gerindra faction.
This was revealed by Riza after previously denying the news that had been circulating since mid-March. Now, Riza admits that a letter of recommendation for the replacement of the Deputy Chair of the DKI DPRD has been submitted to the Chair of the DKI Jakarta DPRD.
"It has been announced that a replacement will be made. In March (the letter has been given)," said Riza at DKI Jakarta City Hall, Friday, April 1.
Later, Taufik will be replaced by the Chair of the Gerindra Faction, Rani Mauliani, as Deputy Chair of the DKI Jakarta DPRD. Riza said, changing positions like this is a common thing.
Moreover, said the Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta, Taufik is still staying at Gerindra by holding the position of Chairman of the Board of Trustees of DPD Gerindra DKI Jakarta.
"Even if there will be a change in the board's equipment, like other parties, it's a normal thing. Giving another chance. Mr. Taufik still, the Gerindra Party in the DPD helps me," said Riza.
It is known, in mid-March, Riza had admitted that his party had no plans to replace the deputy chairman of the DKI DPRD from the Gerindra faction, which is currently held by Mohamad Taufik.
"In Gerindra itself, there is no (plan for replacement). Later if there are developments, we will inform you. Regarding the replacement, there is Pak Suhaimi from PKS," said Riza at DKI City Hall, Wednesday, March 16.
