Summer Game Fest 2022 Coming Soon With Live Show

JAKARTA - Right after the news of the total cancellation of E3 2022 on the internet, Summer Game Fest is getting hot with more info on what participants can expect.

According to previous reports, Summer Game Fest was also part of the reason why the ESA E3 exhibition was cancelled.

2022 will kick off with a live event called the “Kick-off Show,” hosted by Geoff Keighley. The Summer Game Fest 2022 Kick-off event will feature a world premiere, and iam8bit and Double Fine will perform in the Days of the Devs segment.

The rest of the festival will consist of a series of digital live streaming shows. Which developers and publishers will be featured at Game Fest will be announced at a later date.

The exact date for Summer Game Fest is yet to be confirmed, but looking at the announcement from Game Fest's Twitter account, it will be in June.

"Join us this June for Summer Game Fest, an industry-wide celebration of video games, featuring a spectacular live opening show hosted by Geoff Keighley," wrote Game Fest organizers.

Game Fest 2021 announced some big games, such as the Elden Ring release date, Call of Duty Season 4 schedule, and more.
