Keeping Prokes During Ramadan, Central Java Secretary Hopes Homecoming For Jakarta Residents To Grow The Economy
Central Java - Regional Secretary for Central Java (Central Java) Sumarno said the government did not prohibit Tarawih prayers in mosques and prayer rooms during Ramadan in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. He reminded to continue to apply strict health protocols.
"The government allows Tarawih prayers, we urge the public to continue to observe strict health protocols," he said in Semarang, Friday, April 1, as reported by Antara.
In this regard, he advised the takmir of mosques throughout Central Java to always remind the congregation when performing Tarawih prayers or other worship during Ramadan.
"We also advise the takmir of the mosque to keep the prokes (health protocols) running well so that worship will run smoothly, the community is also safe," he said.
He also reminded Central Java residents who wanted to go home to continue to pay attention to health procedures because after all going home would have an impact on improving the residents' economy.
"This homecoming brings residents from Jakarta to Central Java, money circulates in Central Java. Of course it will be able to leverage the economy in Central Java. I hope that going home goes smoothly, has a positive impact on Central Java for economic growth, the circulation of money in Central Java is smooth," he said.
The Governor of Central Java, Ganjar Pranowo, who ensured that all ranks were on alert and kept abreast of the developments of the COVID-19 situation during Ramadan, while on the other hand, vaccination was also accelerated.
He said that it is important to build public awareness during Ramadan so that worship continues with strict health protocols and going home can be done calmly.
