After Bruno Moreira, Taisei Marukawa's Turn To Leave Persebaya Surabaya: Best Player Of Liga 1 2021/2022 Joins Persis Solo?

JAKARTA - Persebaya Surabaya is again confirmed to have lost its foreign players. After Bruno Moreira, now it's Taisei Marukawa's turn to leave the club nicknamed the Green Force.

The Japanese player has already said goodbye on his Instagram account. He admitted that it was difficult to convey this farewell message.

"It's time to say goodbye to the Green Force. First, I'm very sad that I couldn't agree a new contract with Persebaya, but this is football and I understand that something like this can happen," Marukawa wrote on his Instagram account.

The former Senglea player added that the 2021/2022 Indonesian League 1 season was going beautifully for him. He thanked his colleagues at Persebaya Surabaya for the support.

"I believe, we are one of the best teams in Indonesia and if we play with the full squad, no one can beat," he said.

He did not forget to thank the entire team, coaches, staff and Persebaya fanatics, Bonek and Bonita.

"Hopefully one day we will work together again. This city and club will be in my heart forever. One of Wani's guts!" he concluded.

Marukawa's performance in the Indonesian League 1 this season is indeed extraordinary. While defending Persebaya Surabaya, this 25-year-old player scored 17 goals and 10 assists.

He was also named the best player in Liga 1 2021/2022.

It is natural that many are eyeing the services of this one player. Apart from Persija Jakarta, Persis Solo is also reportedly interested in getting Marukawa's autograph, as reported by Antara.

In fact, the signal to join Persis Solo strengthened after the club owner, Kaesan Pangarep, commented on Marukawa's upload. "Hello, sir," wrote Kaesang briefly.
