A Scream Was Heard For Help, A Woman In Asahan North Sumatra Was Found Dead Covered In Blood
MEDAN - Residents of Hamlet 13, Bandar Pasir Mandoge Village, Bandar Pasir Mandoge Subdistrict, Asahan Regency, North Sumatra were shocked to find the body of a woman covered in blood.
The woman named Orlide Boru Nababan (54) was found dead in a supine position and covered in blood in the living room of her house.
From the information obtained, the victim was found dead at around 04.30 WIB, Thursday, March 31.
The victim's child, Jentina Boru Silitonga, said that she had heard screams for help from her mother.
"Hear Mamak's voice screaming, but can't see because the lights are off. The person enters from the window where the glass is broken," Jentina explained to reporters.
At the time of the incident, the victim was at home with her two children. Apart from the victim's child, local residents also heard screams.
Hearing the screams, local residents immediately went to the victim's residence. At the scene, a sharp weapon holster was found covered in blood.
It is suspected that after committing the murder the perpetrator fled through a window that had been tampered with by the perpetrator.
Separately, the Asahan Police Chief, AKBP Putu Yudha Prawira said, currently the Criminal Investigation Unit and the Bandar Pasir Mandoge Police have conducted a crime scene at the scene.
"We are still investigating and we are still pursuing the perpetrators," said AKBP Putu to reporters, Thursday, March 31.
Currently, the victim's body was taken to the hospital for a post-mortem. The motive behind the murder is not yet known.
"Please pray for the perpetrators to be caught soon," he said.
