Street Vendors In Garut Can Sell, But If You Don't Apply The Procedure, Immediately Disband
JAKARTA - Garut Regent Rudy Gunawan invites street vendors (PKL) to sell during the momentum of Ramadan. But there are conditions that must be met, implementing health protocols (prokes) to prevent the transmission of COVID-19.
"We opened a trading place in the Islamic Center, please have an association, but still use the process, otherwise our TNI, Polri and Satpol PP will give me the power to dissolve it," said Rudy Gunawan, Thursday, March 31, as reported by Antara.
He said that the COVID-19 pandemic must still be watched out for transmission by complying with procedures such as always wearing masks and maintaining distance in various activities.
Including trading activities for street vendors, he said, he still had to pay attention to health procedures as a preventive measure so as not to contract or transmit the COVID-19 outbreak.
"Traders must remain orderly and also apply health protocols," he said.
He conveyed the results of a coordination meeting with elements of the Garut Regional Leadership Communication Forum to issue rules in the momentum of the Holy Month of Ramadan, especially in preventing the transmission of the COVID-19 outbreak.
He said the government in this year's Ramadan momentum welcomes congregational tarawih activities at mosques while still adhering to the prokes.
"So if tarawih is allowed, but still maintain a distance, still wear masks, in places where there are large mosques, if there is an explosion, we will evaluate it later," he said.
