Prayers At The Banda Aceh Grand Mosque No Longer Need To Keep Distance

JAKARTA - The implementation of Tarawih Prayers and other worship services at the Baiturrahman Grand Mosque in Banda Aceh this year's Ramadan will no longer impose saf restrictions or social distancing arrangements among worshipers.

"No longer keeping a distance, the staff stays tight," said the Acting Head of the Regional Technical Implementation Unit (UPTD) of the Baiturrahman Grand Mosque, Saifannur in Banda Aceh, Thursday, March 31, as reported by Antara.

Although the implementation of prayers is not by keeping a distance, but the congregation is expected to maintain their respective health.

"Keep maintaining personal health. Congregants must ensure that they are healthy before going to Tarawih, praying sunnah and Witir in congregation," he said.

Saifannur said that in order to welcome the holy month of Ramadan 1443 H, his party together with TNI personnel from the Iskandar Muda Military Command had cleaned the entire yard of the mosque, the pride of the Acehnese people.

"Yesterday we cleaned the mosque grounds, today we spread prayer rugs with the Kodam raider team," he said.

In addition, continued Saifannur, during this Ramadan the Baiturrahman Grand Mosque will also carry out several other activities such as Tadarus until 23.30 WIB.

"Later we will also carry out qiyamul lail on the last 15 days of Ramadan and the commemoration of the Nuzul Quran," said Saifannur.
