JAKARTA - PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) announced that it had opened the sale of train tickets during the Lebaran 1443 Hijriah Transportation period.
"As of April 1, KAI will sell tickets starting D-45 before departure so that people can buy tickets for travel from April 1 to May 16, 2022 and beyond," said KAI VP of Public Relations Joni Martinus in a statement quoted by Antara, Thursday, March 31.
Joni said the tickets can be purchased on the KAI Access application, the kai.id website, the station counter, and all other official KAI ticket sales channels. Currently, KAI implements a policy of selling long-distance train tickets from D-30 before departure.
Joni revealed, this change was made to provide space for the community in planning their journey by train during the Lebaran transportation period.
