Deputy Chairperson Of The Tegal DPRD, Who Held Dangdutan, Was Named A Suspect

JAKARTA - The police have named the Deputy Chairperson of the Tegal City DPRD Wasmad Edi Susilo as a suspect. Wasmad was not detained.

"Yes, it has (been named the suspect). This afternoon the title of the case and the conclusion of the title raised the suspect," said Head of Public Relations of the Police, Inspector General Argo Yuwono, to reporters, Monday, September 28.

The Deputy Chairperson of the Tegal DPRD was charged with criminal charges of Article 93 of Law number 6 of 2018 concerning Health Quarantine in conjunction with Article 216 paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code in conjunction with Article 65 Paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code.

Even though he was named a suspect, Deputy Chairman of the DPRD Tegal Wasmad was not detained. This is because the penalty of the article under suspicion is a maximum of one year in prison.

"Not detained. One year threat regarding the Law on Quarantine," said Argo.

Deputy Chairman of the Tegal DPRD Wasmad Edi Susilo held a celebration with a dangdut concert attended by thousands of people at the South Tegal field, Tegal City on Wednesday, September 23 evening.
