So The Suspect Regarding The Proposal To Delete 300 Al-Qur'an Verses, Bareskrim Says Saifudin Ibrahim Always Monitors Case Developments
JAKARTA - Bareskrim said Saifudin Ibrahim always monitors the progress of handling cases of alleged blasphemy involving him. Even before being named a suspect.
"We see that SI has conveyed that he has monitored the handling of this case," said Karo Penmas of the National Police Public Relations Division, Brigadier General Ahmad Ramadhan, to reporters, Wednesday, March 30.
Saifuddin is known to have monitored the progress of handling the alleged blasphemy case because he had uploaded a video. It contains information about the search for him.
"There is a post made by SI's brother. He made a new video saying the police are looking for the person concerned. It means monitoring," said Ramadhan.
In this case, investigators have named Saifuddin as a suspect. However, they have not been arrested so far. Because, its existence is called in the United States.
Bareskrim Polri cooperates with the FBI to hunt down the whereabouts of Saifuddin Ibrahim alias Abraham Ben Moses. "From the results of the investigation, information was obtained that Saifuddin Ibrahim's brother is currently abroad," said the Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police Inspector General Dedi Prasetyo.
In an effort to find the whereabouts of Saifuddin Ibrahim, Bareskrim also coordinated with the Directorate General of Immigration to trace his travel history.
"Coordinated with the Directorate General of Immigration at the Ministry of Law and Human Rights and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs regarding the alleged presence of SI's brother in the United States," said Dedi.
For information, Saifuddin Ibrahim had gone viral on social media because of his statement. He asked the Minister of Religion to delete 300 verses of the Koran.
