Lovesick Girls Becomes BLACKPINK's Comeback Main Song

JAKARTA - Monday, September 28, YG Entertainment released a concept video for BLACKPINK's main comeback entitled Lovesick Girls. Seen in this video, Jennie, Jisoo, Lisa, and Rosé walk together in the middle of the night in a traffic jam.

Lovesick Girls is confirmed to be the title track of their debut album, THE ALBUM, which will be released on October 2nd.

This song will be BLACKPINK's third release after How You Like That and Ice Cream in collaboration with Selena Gomez.

Ahead of its release, THE ALBUM reached an order number of more than 800 thousand coming from all over the world.

In addition, BLACKPINK has not released a track list that will be included in their latest album. There is a rumor that BLACKPINK will have a duet with Cardi B, but until now YG Entertainment has not confirmed anything.

Apart from the album, BLACKPINK is also preparing a documentary titled Light Up the Sky which will be released on October 14 on Netflix.

The documentary will show BLACKPINK's journey from being a trainee to debut. There will be some footage that has not been released publicly yet.

Only released for an hour, the concept video has been viewed more than 1.2 million times. Fans are really looking forward to BLACKPINK's comeback.

Jennie et al will greet fans in the promotion of THE ALBUM through a live comeback on Naver V-Live on October 2 at 10:00 South Korean time.
