Ganjar Boosts Central Java ASN Can Read Data To Create Good Health Governance
JAKARTA - Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo asked the State Civil Apparatus to be able to read and process available scientific data. This is to improve governance in the health sector.
This was conveyed at the 5th Indonesian Healthy Cities Summit with the theme 'Healthy Cities For All' in 2022 in Semarang.
"The term I can't use old books, must be new books. The world is constantly changing. I also agree with Kang Bima, that Indonesia is not bad at handling the pandemic, we are among the best," Ganjar said in a written statement, Tuesday, March 29.
Ganjar said, when all governors throughout Indonesia were gathered in the new State Capital (IKN) in Kalimantan, the president gave directions regarding the preparation of the APBD.
"In 2023, when the city prepares the APBD, it can no longer copy and paste as it was yesterday, and it seems as if we are only spending money, shopping. We must calculate correctly which ones are priorities for us to be able to recover," said Ganjar.
"What was conveyed by Kang Bima, starting from how we collaborate, innovate, solve problems that are responsive, is now an obligation. And not only business as usual but we talk about how our local conditions must be responded to properly," he added.
Ganjar hopes that the 2022 Healthy City Summit can help ease the government's work in formulating health-related policies.
“Because it turns out that building our health awareness is no longer always a top-down order, this comes from the bottom up idea of the regents and mayors, which in my opinion are great. This eases our burden, because after the pandemic, there will definitely be policies with new models and scientific data that must be brought up. From the results of this summit, we hope to have a new system on how to control it," he said.
