Vice President Ma'ruf Confident, Government And Muhammadiyah Are No Different In Deciding The Beginning Of Ramadan This Year
JAKARTA - Vice President Ma'ruf Amin hopes that there will be no difference in the initial determination of Ramadan 1443 Hijri between Muhammadiyah and the government.
"It is hoped that this year, Muhammadiyah and the government will remain the same," said the Vice President in Jakarta, Antara, Tuesday, March 29.
The vice president said that regarding the initial determination of Ramadan, except for Muhammadiyah, there was already an agreement on the system or method of determination through the Isbat session at the Ministry of Religion.
Even if there are differences in the determination of Ramadan, then there is a common understanding to tolerate each other.
"It means that there is tolerance. For example, Muhammadiyah has an approach called hilal form, as long as there is hilal. If the government has imkanur rukyah, the possibility is rukyah, at least two degrees," he said.
However, the Vice President believes that if you look at this year, the possibility of determining the beginning of Ramadan between the government and Muhammadiyah will be the same.
"If you look at this year's possibility of more than two degrees, the probability will be the same. Hopefully it will be the same," said the vice president hopefully.
