KONAWE - Family, relatives, and friends tolan cried hysterically when the body of the late First Lieutenant (Lettu) Marines (posthumous) Muhammad Iqbal arrived at the funeral home, Anggotoa Village, Wawotobi District, Konawe Regency, Southeast Sulawesi Province, Monday, March 28 evening.
The body arrived at the funeral home at 19:00 WITA. The family and community screamed hysterically while escorting the hearse until it stopped right in front of the funeral home.
The cries of family and relatives broke out when the corpse in a coffin with the red and white flag covering it was removed in a hearse. Due to the density of mourners, it was difficult for the authorities to arrange for the funeral home.
People were seen crying hysterically and couldn't help but feel sad when the best son in their area arrived at the funeral home.
Thousands of families and communities welcomed the arrival of the body of the late Marine Lieutenant (posthumous) Muhammad Iqbal at the funeral home in the village.
Family and relatives lined up from the village axis to the hallway of the deceased's funeral home about 100 meters, to welcome the arrival of the victim's body.
"Please understand the families of the mourners who are on the axis road to the funeral home aisle, I beg for your understanding so that the process of receiving the bodies runs smoothly," said one family using a loudspeaker as quoted from Antara.
Previously, two Marines of the Indonesian Navy were attacked by the Armed Criminal Group (KKB) at the Marine Corps Battalion-33 Mupe Task Force Post in Nduga Regency, Papua, Saturday, March 26. Both were sent back to their hometowns for burial.
The late Muhammad Iqbal was one of the soldiers who died in an attack by the Armed Criminal Group (KKB) led by Egianus Kogoya in Papua using a grenade launcher.

The deceased was the youngest of four children of the couple's mother Hartini and Mr. Maris.
