Apple Reportedly Will Bring IPhone Subscription Service
JAKARTA - Apple is preparing subscription services for iPhones and other hardware. This service allows users to purchase iPhones and iPads through a monthly payment option.
According to a report by Mark Gurman from Bloomberg, quoted by GSMArena Sunday, March 27, users will pay a fixed fee every month. Well, from this fee the user can buy an Iphone or iPad. This service also allows users to exchange their old iPhone with a new one using the money that has been paid for.
This service will be associated with the user's existing Apple ID account, and may incorporate free Apple Care. In fact, you will also get Apple One services that include Apple Music, Apple TV+, Apple Arcade, iCloud+, Apple News+, and Apple Fitness+ for free. No specific price has been mentioned for this iPhone subscription service. Gurman speculates that this service will be priced from 20 to 40 US dollars or the equivalent of IDR 280 - 560 thousand.
Selling your phone as a subscription-based service isn't exactly new as Google already operates a Pixel Pass program in the US that lets you choose between the Pixel 6 or Pixel 6 Pro bundled with Google's own first-party service for $45 to $55 a month.
