311 People In Kupang City Still Positive For COVID-19

KUPANG - The Task Force for the Acceleration of Handling COVID-19 stated that there were 311 positive patients who were still under medical treatment in Kupang City, East Nusa Tenggara Province.

Spokesperson for the Kupang City COVID-19 Task Force for the Acceleration of Handling, Ernest Ludji, said that the active COVID-19 patients who were still under medical treatment for being infected with the new type of corona virus, consisted of 240 women and 71 men.

"The 311 active COVID-19 patients, who are undergoing self-isolation treatment for 241 people and 70 people for medical treatment in hospitals," he said.

Ernest Ludji explained that the 311 positive COVID-19 patients being treated were residents of Alak Subdistrict, 24 people, Kota Raja Subdistrict 36 people, Kota Lama Subdistrict 44 people and Kelapa Lima Subdistrict 59 people. became the most positive area for COVID-19, namely 86 people.

He added that the recovered COVID-19 patients in Kupang City experienced an additional 55 people, bringing the total number of recovered people to 21,934 out of a total of 22,607 positive COVID-19 cases.

He also mentioned that there were 362 COVID-19 patients who died due to being infected with the corona virus during the COVID-19 pandemic, namely from 2020.
