Conglomerate Anthony Salim's Bimoli Cooking Oil And Kunci Mas From Sinarmas By Tycoon Eka Tjipta Widjaja Sold For IDR 24,000 Per Liter In Tidore

JAKARTA - The Department of Industry, Trade, Cooperatives and SMEs (Disperindagkop) together with the Tidore Islands City Police (Tikep) North Maluku (Malut) ensured that the stock of cooking oil ahead of Ramadan at the Sarimalaha Market was safe enough.

Head of Facilitation for Trade Distribution Facilities at Disperindagkop Andi Kirana in Ternate said that currently there are two prices for cooking oil, namely bulk cooking oil for sea highways for IDR 18,000 but sold at ordinary traders for IDR 20,000 per liter.

"I gave an example, cooking oil with simple packaging from the sea highway costs Rp. 20,000 per liter, traders usually sell it for Rp. 22,000 and if bottled cooking oil from the sea toll costs Rp. 22,000 to Rp. 25,000," Kirana said, quoted by Antara. from Antara, Saturday 26 March.

According to him, the common cooking oil sold in Tikep City is currently under various brands, ranging from Bimoli cooking oil to Kunci Mas for IDR 22,000 to IDR 24,000 per liter.

"To be able to reach cooking oil stocks before Ramadan, then, before March 28, 2022, cooking oil is most likely to enter Tidore by sea toll ship," he said.

Of course, by looking at the current population in Tikep City, according to Andi Kirana, the supply of cooking oil is still fulfilled, compared to last year's cooking oil was in excess.

Andi Kirana emphasized that cooking oil cannot be sold outside because it is to meet the needs of the people in Tikep

"Even if they are sold abroad, they will certainly be arrested," he said.

He said that as happened a few weeks ago, the supply of cooking oil from Ternate City was empty so the stock was taken from Tidore Islands.

"We have been monitoring the Sarimalaha market and next week the Head of the Department and I will directly check in the Oba plains, of course, together with Commission II DPRD will also monitor the cooking oil distributors," he said.

He assessed that from the results of checking the cooking oil stocks available in the Tidore Islands City, it is estimated that they will last for the next two months.

"I appeal to traders not to sell cooking oil outside the Tidore Islands City area, so that the stock of cooking oil needs is maintained," he said.
