AP 1 Apply The Latest Rules For Overseas Travel, Here Are The Terms!
JAKARTA - PT Angkasa Pura I (AP 1) is ready to implement the latest travel regulations in line with the issuance of SE Ministry of Transportation RI No. 33 of 2022 concerning Guidelines for the Implementation of Overseas Travel (PPLN) by Air Transportation during the COVID-19 Pandemic which is effective on March 24 2022.
In the SE of the Ministry of Transportation of the Republic of Indonesia No. 33 of 2022 it is stated that PPLN with air transportation must comply with the following provisions:
1. PPLN must show the results of the RT - PCR test with a negative result from the country of origin which is valid 2x24 hours before departure and download the PeduliLindung application and fill in the Indonesian e-HAC.
2. PPLNs who have not received the vaccine will be vaccinated at the arrival entry point, after first RT-PCR with negative results.
3. PPLN who have not been able to get vaccinated or have received the first dose of vaccine at least 14 days before departure, are required to quarantine for 5x24 hours.
4. PPLN who have received the second or third dose of vaccine at least 14 days before departure and the results of RT - PCR on arrival show negative results, are allowed to continue the journey.
The SE also determined 4 airports managed by Angkasa Pura I to be PPLN's entry points, namely I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport in Bali, Juanda Airport in Surabaya, Sam Ratulangi Airport in Manado and Lombok International Airport.
"Angkasa Pura I together with all relevant stakeholders at the airport will coordinate intensively to ensure that every operational process such as inspection of travel documents, health checks, availability of vaccines and the implementation of health protocols for PPLN at the 4 airports that we manage run in accordance with applicable regulations," he said. For information, the number of international passenger traffic at the 4 entry points managed by Angkasa Pura I from January 1 to March 24 2022 reached 24,563 passengers with international flight traffic reaching 847 aircraft movements.
Bali's I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport served the highest passenger traffic and international flights for that period by serving 19,561 passengers and flight traffic reaching 251 aircraft movements.
Meanwhile, Manado's Sam Ratulangi Airport is the second highest by serving 2,782 passengers and flight traffic reaching 97 aircraft movements & Surabaya Juanda Airport serving 1,718 passengers with flight traffic reaching 187 aircraft movements.
"We are optimistic that this policy will be able to gradually increase flight traffic and passengers on international routes at the airports we manage, especially in Bali, Surabaya, Manado and Lombok so as to bring a multiplier effect for economic recovery and the tourism industry in a sustainable manner," said Faik.
