Investment For Human Resources Improvement Is Very Important, Minister Of Manpower Ida Fauziyah: One Of The Priority Targets Of National Development
JAKARTA - Improving the quality of human resources (HR) is very important in manpower development. For this reason, investment in human resource development is considered very important in the process.
This was conveyed by the Minister of Manpower (Menaker), Ida Fauziyah, when speaking at Pasker ID Goes to Campus and the Inauguration of Management of the Higher Education Communication Forum for Employment (Forkomtinag), recently.
The Minister of Manpower Ida stated that one of the priority targets for the 2019-2024 national development focuses on increasing investment.
"Therefore, investment in improving the quality of human resources is very important in the employment development process," said Ida, as reported by Antara.
Investment is very important for at least five reasons. These include investment in creating job opportunities, increasing opportunities for technology and knowledge transfer.
Then strengthen the quality of human resources, encourage increased productivity, and contribute to national economic growth.
Ida said that one form of investment in improving the quality of human resources is through education in quality universities.
This is because graduates from quality universities tend to have higher productivity and make a greater contribution to the economy.
"Therefore, we must continue to make universities as one of the focuses in the process of improving the quality of this nation's human resources," he said.
He believes that the Pasker ID Goes to Campus and Forkomtinag will have a significant impact on labor development in Indonesia.
The event, which was attended by a number of rectors from various universities in Indonesia, became an important momentum to realize the synergy and collaboration of universities with the Ministry of Manpower as the leading sector of labor development in Indonesia.
