Satkes Pusdokkes Polri Headquarters Holds Booster Vaccinations With Ulama And Santri At Asshiddiqiyah Islamic Boarding School

JAKARTA - In order to suppress the rate of COVID-19 and lead to endemic, the Central Health and Medical Center Health Unit (Satkes Pusdokkes) of the National Police Headquarters together with Rhemedi Medical Services and BAMUUIS (Badan Musyawarah Ulama and Muslims) provided 1,200 doses of booster vaccine at the Asshiddiqiyah Islamic Boarding School, Jakarta.

Under the coordination of the Nahdlatul Ulama Health Institute (LKNU), vaccination activities target students, students of the Asshiddiqiyah Islamic Boarding School in Jakarta who are over 18 years old, parents of students, local residents, representatives of the Nahdlatul Ulama Autonomous Agency.

Vaccination runs according to target and runs according to health protocols. Even though it was hampered by rain, the vaccination participants looked very enthusiastic.

“Alhamdulillah, today's booster vaccination event went smoothly. Hopefully today's activity will be blessed and provide benefits to each recipient." said Dr. Rheza Maulana, the LKNU administrator, based on a written statement from the National Police Headquarters, Friday, March 25.

“I personally and on behalf of all devices at the Asshiddiqiyah Islamic Boarding School, would like to express my deepest gratitude to the Nahdlatul Ulama Health Institute, the National Police Headquarters Health Center Health Unit, PBMJ, Rhemedi Medical Services, BAMUUIS, Sibro Hospital for supporting today's activities. This is one of the efforts to make the Asshiddiqiyah Islamic Boarding School environment healthy and free from the COVID-19 virus." explained doctor Rheza.

The leader of the Asshiddiqiyah Islamic Boarding School, KH Ahmad Mahrus, said that this activity was a form of obedience and responsibility of the Asshiddiqiyah Islamic Boarding School in the success of the Government of the Republic of Indonesia program in suppressing the spread of COVID-19 in Indonesia, especially in Islamic boarding schools.

It is known, the booster vaccination activity is part of a series of PBNU National Working Meetings (Rakernas) which took place at Cipasung Islamic Boarding School, West Java. To provide benefits to the community around the location of the National Working Meeting, vaccination activities were also carried out in Garut targeting students, local residents, as well as ulama and Kiai.
