Arrested For Being Absent-minded, Woman From West Lombok Hangs Herself At The Denpasar Satpol PP Office

DENPASAR - A woman named Maemuna (37) from Kuang Village, Taliwang District, West Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) was found dead by hanging herself. Maemuna committed suicide in the Jipiring II building room, Denpasar City Satpol PP Office, Bali, on Jalan Kecubung, East Denpasar, Bali.

"The results from the initial examination of the Denpasar Police inafis team, that the victim is suspected of having died from suicide by snaring his neck using the victim's bag strap until he limp and died," said Head of Public Relations of Denpasar Police Iptu Ketut Sukadi, Friday night, March 25.

From the testimony of the witness, Gede Anom Gunawan, a Denpasar City Satpol PP officer, it is known that the Satpol PP patrolled Thursday, March 24 at Puputan Badung field, Bali.

This witness was contacted by his superiors about people being absent-minded at the Customs and Excise office, Jalan Tukad Badung. Her superior asked the witness to secure the woman to the Denpasar Satpol PP office.

"Furthermore, the victim was taken to the Denpasar City Satpol PP. Arriving at the Satpol PP Mako the victim was entered into the Jipiring II Guidance Room. Then, at around 03.00 WITA the witness was in the office lobby hearing the victim screaming at that time the situation was rainy," added Iptu Sukadi.

On Friday morning, March 25, the victim was found dead when officers checked the victim in the room.

"And the will of the victim's husband who also died by suicide," said Iptu Sukadi.
