Not In The Film, Matt Reeves Releases Video Of Barry Keoghan Meeting The Batman

JAKARTA - The director of the film The Batman, Matt Reeves released a video clip of Barry Keoghan's scene with Robert Pattinson. This scene does not enter into the film The Batman.

This scene was originally inserted into the scene after Batman solved the riddle of the Riddler (Paul Dano). However, the scene where Barry Keoghan met as the Joker was deleted by the director.

In this five-minute video, Robert Pattinson is seen interrogating the Joker to catch the Riddler, the killer who is trying to open up corruption in Gotham City. Viewers can see hair highlighted in green.

"I think deep down, you're just scared, because you don't believe he's wrong," the Joker tells The Batman in the video.

The figure of Arkham or Joker is made blurry but the style of speech and at a glance there is lip makeup that is his trademark.

Barry Keoghan also shared the video and felt very grateful to have the opportunity to appear in this film.

"Honestly I'm speechless but I'm very very grateful to be able to play this role with such great actors. This is my version," he said.

Matt Reeves explained that the appearance was inspired by the character Gwynplaine from The Man Who Laughs in 1928. According to him, the Joker in The Batman has not completely become the Joker.

"He (Joker) looks tense but visually distant from you. But I wanted to create a character that felt unique and new but that stayed true to its roots," Matt Reeves told IGN.

“To him, life is a cruel joke and this is his response. And he declared himself a clown, as the Joker. That's the idea," Reeves continued.

This answers the suspicions of the audience who asked the whereabouts of Barry Keoghan in the film The Batman. It is known that his name is included in the main player credits, but the audience does not see any of the scenes.

Matt Reeves features Barry Keoghan in a scene where the Riddler and Joker live in the same cell at Arkham State Hospital.
