Looking At The Wealth Of Eri Cahyadi And Machfud Arifin Who Competed In The Surabaya Regional Head Election
SURABAYA - KPU of Surabaya City, East Java received the Wealth Report of State Administrators (LHKPN) of two candidates for Surabaya mayor. Candidate for mayor Eri Cahyadi has assets of IDR 5.7 billion, while his competitor Machfud Arifin has assets of IDR 29.7 billion.
"Both of them have reported the LHKPN, we have received it," said KPU Surabaya Legal and Supervision Division Commissioner, Soeprayitno, confirmed, Friday, September 25.
From checking on the elhkpn.kpk.go.id page, it is stated that Eri Cahyadi's assets are IDR 5,781,883,439. Meanwhile, Machfud Arifin is worth Rp29,784,287,052.
Machfud Arifin's assets consist of land and buildings worth IDR 23,847,049,000, transportation equipment and machines worth IDR 900,000,000, other movable assets worth IDR 225,500,000, and cash and cash equivalents worth IDR 4,811,738,052.
The assets concerned were reported to the KPK on August 24, 2020. This announcement is made with complete notes based on the verification results on September 1.
There are also details of Eri Cahyadi's assets including land and buildings worth IDR 4,885,480,000, transportation equipment and machines worth IDR 366,500,000, other movable assets worth IDR274,867,200, cash and cash equivalents worth IDR107,036,239, other assets worth IDR148,000,000 and debt amounting to Rp2,726,861,695.
Eri Cahyadi's wealth was reported to the KPK on March 16, 2020. This announcement was made with complete notes based on the verification results on April 13, 2020.
The announcement of their assets is in accordance with the mandate of Law Number 28 of 1999 concerning State Administrators who are Clean and Free from Corruption, Collusion and Nepotism.
Machfud Arifin, who is paired with Mujiaman, is supported by a large coalition of parties, namely NasDem, Golkar, PPP, PKB, Gerindra, PKS, PAN and Democrat. Meanwhile, the Eri Cahyadi-Armuji pair only supported two parties, namely the PDI-P and PSI.
