Dozens Of Stalls At The Garuda Tangerang Complex Were Burned Down, Losses Reached Hundreds Of Millions

TANGERANG REGENCY - As many as 45 stalls were sold out by fire at the Garuda Complex Market, Teluknaga, Tangerang Regency. The fire is thought to have originated from an electrical short in one of the stalls.

Head of Emergency and Logistics BPBD Tangerang Regency Abdul Munir said his party received the report, Friday, March 25, at 6:40 WIB.

"Yes, it's true that there was a fire in the Mutiara Garuda Complex, there were 45 stalls on fire. The temporary suspicion is that the fire started from a short circuit in one of the kiosks," said Munir when confirmed, Friday, March 25.

Munir said that three fire fighting units in Tangerang Regency were deployed. Munir explained, at 8.12 WIB, the fire had been successfully extinguished and is still in the cooling process.

"The fire has been controlled, it is currently in the cooling process," he said.

There were no casualties in the fire incident. But the loss is estimated at hundreds of millions of rupiah.
