It Takes Patience To See Again God Zlatan Ibrahimovic's Goal Celebration

MILAN - Zlatan Ibrahimovic returned to the San Siro on Monday, January 6 when AC Milan hosted Sampdoria in Serie A. However, he couldn't enjoy the win as the match ended 0-0.

The 38-year-old came on for Krzysztof Piatek 10 minutes into the second half as the Rossoneri's winless win continued to three games. Ibra was part of the last Milan team to win the Scudetto in 2010-11.

"I can feel a lot of the adrenaline, emotions and feelings that I have carried over the past nine or 10 years," Ibrahimovic - who arrived in Milan on a free transfer until the end of the season, told Sky Sport Italia.

"My relationship with the fans remains excellent and gives me so much motivation. I want to get on the pitch, score goals and then celebrate like a God in front of the Curva!"

Unfortunately, the former Sweden international's wishes had to be delayed as the match ended goalless. Milan are in 12th place in Serie A after 18 matches. Stefano Pioli's side are 13 points clear of fourth-placed Roma and only eight points above the relegation zone.

"You can see that this team lacks confidence and is less aggressive in scoring goals, so we were ineffective. We need to understand what must be done to get the best out of this squad," added the former LA Galaxy player.

"I've been here for four days and I will try everything possible to get Milan back on track. There is a lack of confidence here," he said.

Milan tied Ibrahimovic with a 6-month contract with an option to extend for one year.
