Welcoming Ramadan, KlikFilm Presents Two Religious Films: Go Home And God Asks For Money

JAKARTA - Ahead of the month of Ramadan which falls in April 2022, KlikFilm presents two new films entitled God Asks for Money and Returns. Both films are directed by Azhar Kinoi Lubis.

To introduce the two films, KlikFilm has officially released posters and trailers for these two films. The film God Asks for Money itself is played by Putri Ayudia and Anantya Rizky. While the film Pulang was played by Ziva Magnolia, Mark Natama, Ringgo Agus Rahman, and Imelda Therine.

The film God Asks for Money tells the story of Adi who has to work as a shoe shiner. Until one day, his secret was revealed. Adi turns out to be a woman named Maya who is disguised so that she can work as a polisher.

Adi also had bad luck when his grandfather was admitted to the hospital. It took a lot of money, Adi continued to pray to be given fortune by Allah SWT. Until finally he found a suitcase filled with money. Without thinking, Adi felt it was a gift from Allah for his prayers all this time.

But unlucky, it turned out that the money in the suitcase was stolen money. Until finally, Adi went to jail. Luckily, with the help of residents and kind-hearted lawyers, Adi is finally proven innocent, and the real culprit is finally caught.

While the film Pulang, tells about the Rindu family who are on the verge of destruction. The story begins when Rindu travels with his father, Pras, to Yogyakarta. Meanwhile, Santi, Rindu's mother and Biru, his sister, Rindu, had already been in Yogyakarta. On the way, Rindu and his father talked a lot, until some secrets were revealed. Starting from the tattoos that Rindu has, to the relationship between his father and mother which was almost divorced.

Missing shock, when she finds out her parents' relationship is not good. Until Rindu asked his father why they wanted a divorce. From the conversation, Pras seemed to have just realized. He then called his wife. The trip opened the eyes of Pras' heart. That, all this time he needed was to go home. Returning to the most beautiful memories in him, which leaves a long journey.

The director of the film Pulang and God Asks for Money, Kinoi said, happiness, two of his films were shown during the month of Ramadan. "Wow, I'm really happy, Finally. The film Pulang is very unique, a road movie of a girl's journey with her father who tells about their family. Meanwhile, God asks for money, giving a lot of moral messages that are very natural," he explained when contacted Thursday, March 24.

Putri Ayudia admitted that she was happy to be able to work with all those involved in the film God Asks for Money. "I'm very happy because apart from a good story and script, I can play with seniors, Nanda who is very talented, as well as a reunion with Mas Kinoy as a director," he said.

The same thing was conveyed by Putri Ayudia's co-star, Anantya Rizky. "I'm really happy because in this film I play two different characters. Thankfully, during the filming process I didn't encounter any significant obstacles, and everything went smoothly," he explained.

Ringgo Agus Rahman, who plays the role of a father in the film Pulang, said that he had a new experience while acting in this film. "Taking pictures on toll roads is something new for me. Compromising with the situation, by prioritizing safety, is exciting. Not an obstacle, but a new experience for me," he said.

Meanwhile, Mark Natama admitted that this was his first experience playing a film. He also felt grateful to get a lot of input from the more senior players. "This is my first film, so there is pride, but there is also fear, whether I do according to the expectations of the director. But overall everything went well, it was fun, because I was accompanied by my fellow cast, both seniors, like Ms. Ringgo and Sis Imel who gave a lot of inside and advice, especially when reading. There was also Ziva who was previously familiar, so it wasn't awkward when she was on set, it was just a matter of finding the chemistry," he concluded.

The film Home and God Asks for Money, will be officially broadcast simultaneously on KlikFilm on April 2, 2022.
