Canadian Elite Sniper Joins Ukraine In Guarding Kyiv Against Russia
JAKARTA - Introducing, the title is 'Guardian'. He is an elite Canadian soldier with special long-range shooting skills who is now joining Ukraine against Russia.
Wali was rumored to have been killed by Russian troops a few days ago. When a tank attack hits a house that is a hiding place.
"I was in a house where they shot the room right next to me with bullets from the tank, I was about three meters away. We were lucky," Wali said as quoted by The Mirror, Wednesday 24 March.
"Now I know what it's like to be involved with a tank," he added.
The guardian finally spoke about the current conditions. He believes Moscow spread reports of his death as part of a propaganda campaign.
Wali joined Ukraine after Vladimir Putin began his full-scale operation on February 24. Initially, he still regularly reported developments on his social media.
But all this time he was spending time in the Kyiv region, fighting with the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Despite having a high-profile reputation, he admits that he has not recorded any murders.
Speaking on Tuesday, he said he had "enough to eat, rest and everything is fine".
"I was the last to hear the news that I had died," he joked.
Wali described his involvement with Russian troops, who were only 50 meters away and aware of their position.
Wali said the war in Ukraine was unlike anything he had ever seen.
“It's not like everything is collapsing, there's still the internet. Most of the battle zones have no electricity and no water and it's chaos."
He said he went to central Kyiv on patrol and lived in an "amazing" condo with an espresso machine.
However, he has seen much sadder scenes, including Russians routinely shooting stray pet dogs for giving up positions by barking.
And he also met an old woman and her cat who had not eaten for days.
