Again, Criminal Investigation Unit Arrests Anang Diantoko, Fugitive Owner Of Evotrade Trading Robot Hiding In Bali Villa

JAKARTA - The National Police Baresrkim arrested Anang Diantoko, who is a fugitive in the alleged fraudulent investment case with the Evotrade trading robot mode. The arrest took place in one of the villas in Bali.

"An arrest was made on March 20, 2022, against the suspect DPO owner of Robot Trading Evotrade on behalf of the Army," said Director of Special Economic Crimes at the National Police Criminal Investigation Agency Brigadier General Whisnu Hermawan in his statement, Wednesday, March 23.

"(Arrest, ed) at Vila Grey, Jalan Duku Indah alley Jepun, Umalas District, North Kuta," he continued.

During this arrest, a number of pieces of evidence were seized. For example, 10 cell phones of various brands, 3 modems, 6 ATM cards, motorbikes, up to Rp. 1.6 million in cash.

However, Whisnu has not clearly explained the role until the case. It was only confirmed that the suspect AD had been brought to Jakarta and detained.

"The suspect was examined and detained at the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Police," said Whisnu.

The Bareskrim Polri is not only investigating online gambling cases under the guise of Binomo and Quotex trading, which have named Indra Kenz and Doni Salmanan as suspects. There are 5 trading platforms and robots under investigation.
