Asus ROG Phone 3, Sultan Gaming Mobile
JAKARTA - Asus is returning to bring its gaming cellphone to Indonesia. The successor to smartphone gaming, ROG Phone 3 is specially designed for those hardcore mobile gamers.
Asus ROG Phone 3 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 Plus 5G, which is the fastest processor at the moment. Comes with high-end gaming specifications, this phone is actually quite affordable.
"With a myriad of improvements from the previous generation, ROG Phone 3 is certain to become the mainstay of hardcore mobile gamers in Indonesia as the main weapon in every battle," said Asus Regional Director Southeast Asia, Jimmy Lin, at the launch of Asus ROG Phone 3, Thursday, 24 September.
Just like its predecessor which was popular in Indonesia as a gaming phone, the Asus ROG Phone 3 still carries a 6.59-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 2340x1080. ROG Phone 3 is also supported by a 144Hz refresh rate with 25ms touch latency and 1ms response time.
ROG Phone 3 also adopts a screen with a Delta E value <1 for accurate colors and supports HDR10 + displays. In terms of design, Asus makes ROG Phone 3 look calmer by reducing the sharp corners that this phone is a special gaming smartphone.
Regarding its innards, Asus provides several improvements apart from using the latest System on Chip (SoC) processors that support Qualcomm Snapdragon Elite Gaming features. Asus has also embedded LPDDR5 RAM which supports UFS 3.1 as storage media.

"Can you imagine your cellphone has more RAM than a computer? LPDDR5 is 15 percent faster than the previous generation," said Global Sales and Marketing Director of ASUS, Shawn Chang.
This high-class specification is supported by a 6,000mAh battery. Just like its predecessor, ROG Phone 3 returns an external cooling system that can keep smartphone performance stable even when playing for a long time.
Incomplete if a gaming cellphone is not supported by a qualified camera configuration. There are three cameras on the back of the phone. The main camera comes with a Sony IMX686 sensor with a 64MP resolution and is capable of recording videos up to 8K. There is also a 13MP ultra-wide camera and a 5MP macro lens. While the selfie camera has a 24MP resolution.
Asus also provides other features, such as dual GameFX and Dirac HD Sound speakers, an under-screen fingerprint sensor, the latest AirTrigger 3 which is now equipped with a motion sensor in X Mode on ROG Phone 3. Besides being equipped with the latest cellular connectivity and WiFi 6, ROG Phone 3 comes with a new feature called ROG HyperFusion Technology.
Questioning the price, it turns out that it is quite friendly in the bag even though we know gaming phones are always labeled with fantastic prices. Asus provides two memory options along with the price, the 8GB / 128GB RAM phone is only Rp.9.9 million. As for 12GB RAM with 256GB storage, Asus values this phone at around Rp.14.99 million.
