Achievement Of Booster Vaccination In Aceh Has Just Reached 4.83 Percent
BANDA ACEH - The Aceh Regional Police stated that the achievement of the third dose of COVID-19 vaccine vaccination or booster in the westernmost province of Indonesia had only reached 4.83 percent.
"The people of Aceh who have received the booster dose of the COVID-19 vaccine have only 194.548 people or 4.83 percent of the target of four million people," said the Public Relations Division of the Aceh Police Commissioner-police (Kombes Pol) Winardy in Banda Aceh, Wednesday, March 23.
According to Kombes Pol Winardy, this number is still far from the government's target of 70 percent. Even so, the Aceh Police and their ranks continue to strive to improve the achievement of the booster dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
However, said Kombes Pol Winardy, to increase the achievement of the booster dose of COVID-19 vaccine vaccination requires the support and cooperation of all stakeholders together in educating the public on the importance of COVID-19 vaccine vaccination.
Kombes Pol Winardy said the Aceh Police and staff had prepared 310 vaccination booths spread across 23 regencies and cities in the province nicknamed Bumi Serambi Mecca. A vaccination booster vaccine is a complete dose to increase immunity against COVID-19.

"Therefore, we continue to invite the people of Aceh to take the third dose of COVID-19 vaccine vaccination or booster so that the vaccine received is declared complete. The aim of the third dose of vaccine is to end the COVID-19 pandemic," said Kombes Pol Winardy as quoted by Antara.
In addition to vaccinations, Kombes Pol Winardy also reminded people who have received vaccines to continue to comply with health protocols to prevent the transmission and spread of COVID-19.
Because, said Kombes Pol Winardy, health protocols including always wearing a mask, keeping a distance, not crowding, are effective ways to prevent the transmission and spread of COVID-19.
"Always obey health protocols. Especially now that there is Omicron, which transmission and spread is faster than the previous variant," he said.
