Joko Tjandra Examined By The AGO, Asked About The Action Plan And The King Maker
JAKARTA - Joko Soegiarto Tjandra underwent a 9-hour questioning at the Attorney General's Office. Joko Tjandra was examined as a suspect and witness for Andi Irfan Jaya in the Supreme Court (MA) fatwa bribery case.
Joko Tjandra's investigation took place from 10.36 WIB to 19.30 WIB. Joko Tjandra was questioned by 25 questions from the Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus) at the Attorney General's Office.
"About 25 (questions) repeat just yesterday. If as a suspect, confirm who started the action plan, who will send the action plan," said Joko Tjandra's lawyer, Krisna Murti, to reporters, Thursday, September 24.
During the investigation, Joko Tjandra according to the lawyer explained that the action plan was sent by Andi Irfan Jaya. Joko, called a lawyer, emphasized that he did not know about the initiative which was often referred to as the king maker.
"Then there is a question about who the king maker is, then T, DK, who is it. The initials don't know," said Krisna.
The AGO has named Joko Tjandra as a suspect in giving bribes to Prosecutor Pinangki Sirna Malasari. The suspect was named after the Attorney General's Office twice questioned Joko Tjandra.
The Attorney General's Office charged Joko Tjandra with article 5 paragraph 1 letter a of Law 31 of 1999 concerning Eradication of Corruption, as amended by Law Number 20 of 2001. Or the second suspicion, article 5 paragraph 1 letter b of the Law on the eradication of criminal acts of corruption or those third is article 13 of the Corruption Eradication Law.
