Jokowi Flies To Kupang NTT, 2,420 Joint Personnel Are Alerted At These 3 Points

KUPANG - A total of 2,420 joint personnel are ready to secure the planned visit of President Joko Widodo to Kupang, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT).

"So in general there are 2,420 personnel, but basically it could be more than that because the President's security is carried out at a number of points," explained NTT Police Chief Inspector General Setyo Budiyanto in Kupang, Antara, Wednesday, March 23.

He added that a number of personnel will be stationed at all points in Kupang City, including three points in Kupang City, Timor Tengah Selatan Regency (TTS), and in Atambua, which borders Timor Leste.

All personnel have been prepared according to the plan to implementation activities.

"We all hope that the President's visit to this area can make us proud, especially since this is the 15th time he has visited NTT. Let's take care of security in this area together," he added.

Meanwhile, the Mayor of Kupang, Jefri Riwu Kore, said that President Jokowi was scheduled to visit several locations.

"That is the inauguration of Kelapa Lima Beach, then to the Kupang State Polytechnic," said Jefri to reporters. Various preparations are still being made to welcome President Jokowi's arrival in NTT.
