Muannas Opens Peaceful Opportunities With Hadi Pranoto In The Case Of Alleged COVID-19 Drug Hoax

JAKARTA - The case with the alleged spread of fake news or hoaxes about the herbal medicine COVID-19 with reported Hadi Pranoto is likely to end in peace. The reason is that there has been a meeting between Hadi and Muannas Alaidid as the reporter.

"There is indeed a little discussion. He hopes that the case will have peace," Muannas told VOI, Thursday, September 24.

Muannas said peace could happen. As long as Hadi and Erdian Aji Prihartanto alias Anji made an apology for the case on social media.

"Yes, I said we just follow the legal process first, unless he (Hadi) shows good faith by creating joint content to Anji to apologize that his case has caused uproar in the public," he said.

Meanwhile, Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Yusri Yunus, said that his party had not received any information regarding peace between the two parties. However, for now the investigation process will continue.

"We'll see, we don't know yet. That's their discourse," said Yusri.

In addition, in the near future, investigators will also reschedule the question of examining Hadi. Because on the examination agenda dated 23 September, Hadi again asked to postpone the examination on the grounds that his body condition had deteriorated.

"We will schedule it again. Later coordinate with his lawyers," he said.

Meanwhile, Anji and Hadi Pranoto were reported to Polda Metro Jaya by Cyber Indonesia regarding the alleged spread of fake news or hoaxes of the COVID-19 drug through the Dunia Manji channel on YouTube.

General Chairperson of Cyber Indonesia Muannas Alaidid explained that the content broadcast on the YouTube channel on Saturday, August 1, 2020 has the potential to trigger polemics in the community.

The content uploaded by Anji contained a statement by Hadi Pranoto who claimed to be the maker of the COVID-19 antibody herbal.

In addition, there are other statements from Hadi who are considered to have reaped polemics, namely questions about the rapid test and and the COVID-19 swab test.

Hadi admitted to having a much more effective test method at a price of IDR 10 to IDR 20 thousand using digital technology.
