Now You Can Cancel Your Google Stadia Subscription Easily, Here's How!

JAKARTA - Stadia is a game cloud service operated by Google since 2019. Stadia can broadcast video games up to 4K at 60 frames per second with high-level dynamic sequence support.

According to The Verge's report, its future is still a bit unclear, as Google is reportedly not prioritizing it internally. Even so, gamers still use this service.

However, if you want to cancel your Stadia subscription, the good news is that canceling your Google Stadia Pro subscription is quite easy. Here's how VOI summarized how to cancel a Google Stadia subscription.

However, before you cancel make sure that you are aware of the consequences, such as

You will lose access to any games you claimed for free when you become a Stadia Pro member. You can save and continue playing any games you purchase through the service. You will be limited to 1080p streaming with stereo sound instead of 4K and 5.1 surround. Lapsed Stadia Pro subscribers can still purchase and play additional games, even with a free account. If you later decide to re-subscribe to Stadia Pro, the free games you originally claimed will be restored in your account library.

So if you decide to cancel, you can still continue to use Google Stadia as a free service by playing the paid games you already own at a lower resolution.
