The North Sumatran Police Chief emphasized that the Pematangsiantar Police will continue to conduct investigations and call the actions of the perpetrators a crime even though they did not cause any casualties.

"But the damage is in the SPKT room where community services are located. The police will work wisely by paying attention to all aspects with a picture of understanding that the perpetrators have as material for considering the next investigation process," he explained.

Meanwhile, the chairman of the Pematangsiantar MUI, HM Ali Lubis, said the incident shocked the public. However, he was grateful that the police's swift action could avoid the negative effects that could be widely circulated.

"Hopefully it doesn't have a bad effect. According to the information provided by his parents, the perpetrator has been in a collision, so it causes the perpetrator's way of thinking to be less than perfect," said Ali.
