Deep Condolences For Aat's Mother In Cianjur, Her Son Burned To Death In The House
CIANJUR - A boy with the initials N died when his parents' house in Bojongherang Village, Cianjur Regency, West Java, burned down. The cause of the fire is believed to be an electrical short circuit.
Cianjur District Fire Field Coordinator Miky Arizona said his party sent a fire engine to the location after receiving the report. Efforts to extinguish the fire were immediately carried out, because the fire was already blazing in two houses.
"The fire was extinguished after several tens of minutes. There were two houses that caught fire and did not spread to other buildings. Joint officers immediately evacuated the bodies of the victims who were reported to be still asleep," he said in Cianjur, Antara, Tuesday, March 22.
The victim was found dead in his room and immediately taken to the Cianjur Hospital for a post-mortem. Meanwhile, for an hour, the officers were still cooling down as an effort to anticipate the fire re-igniting.
Meanwhile, eyewitness information claimed to have seen thick smoke coming out of the roof of the house belonging to Aat's mother (52). The witness then informed other residents and reported to the Cianjur Fire Department.
"I saw thick black smoke coming out of the roof of Aat's mother's house, seeing this I shouted to tell other residents who immediately reported to the fire department. At first we did not know that Nizar was still in the house, we also had a chance to smell burning meat, " said the eyewitness Faith.
He explained that every morning Aat went to the market to shop for the needs of the stall in front of his house, leaving N who was sleeping.
"We only found out after the fire was extinguished and Nizar's body was found under the mattress in a charred condition," he said.
