Following Democratic Cadres And Ex-Kadis PUPR, North Maluku Police Name 2 Corruption Suspects In The Sula Islands
AMBON - Investigators from the Special Criminal Investigation Directorate (Direskrimsus) of the North Maluku Police (Malut) have named two more suspects in the alleged corruption case of the dam construction and irrigation projects in the Sula Islands for the 2020 budget year worth Rp9.8 billion.
The Head of Public Relations of the Malut Police, Kombes Michael Irwan Tamsil, when contacted, said that the two new suspects were named Bram and SH alias Salim Haris. Both are field consultants in this case.
"Both of them have been named suspects because they are suspected of not carrying out supervision in the project," explained Michael as quoted by Antara, Tuesday, March 22.
In handling this case, the North Maluku Regional Police have handed over stage two of four suspects to the North Sumatra Prosecutor's Office, namely the former Head of the Sula Islands PUPR Service Moh Lutfi Kader, former PUPR Secretary Maskur, Director of PT Amarta Maha Karya Razak Karim, and work executor Fredi Parengkuan who is also a member. He said that in handling cases of alleged corruption in the construction of dams and irrigation in the Sula Islands Regency, of course, investigators had summoned and examined all parties related to supervision, including SH, and even this case had been carried out to determine the suspect.
Investigators have examined a consultant in the dam and irrigation construction project with the initials SH.
He stated that his party in handling corruption cases did not play around in this case eradicating corruption in North Maluku. He asserted, North Maluku Police investigators are very consistent and do not play around in terms of eradicating corruption.
