Resigning From The KPK, Febri Diansyah: I'm Leaving
JAKARTA - Head of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Public Relations Bureau Febri Diansyah resigned. The news of Febri Diansyah's resignation was confirmed by Acting Spokesperson for the KPK in the field of prosecution Ali Fikri.
"The information I received is that the KPK HR Bureau has received the resignation letter in question," Ali told reporters, Thursday, September 24.
However, Ali did not know for sure the reason for Febri's resignation, who had served as KPK spokesman. It's just that in the internal mechanism of the KPK, every employee who wants to resign must submit it in writing one month in advance.
Meanwhile, when confirmed, Febri only answered briefly the reasons for his resignation.
"Yes, with all my love for the KPK, I say goodbye," he said.
Febri Diansyah joined the anti-corruption organization after he had become an anti-corruption activist at Indonesia Corruption Watch (ICW). He became a replacement for the previous KPK spokesman, Johan Budi SP in 2016 and resigned in 2019 or shortly after Firli Bahuri became the KPK Chair.
